Tiel with Appeal

My pretty bird Ngalaiya inspired me recently to crochet a little cockatiel in her honor. In my pattern search, I happened upon an awesome free pattern for Natu (Pokemon character) by WolfDreamer.  I love Natu, but I also saw the potential for another character - one that I call Kooky Tiel.

Kooky Tiel

Cheeks (make 2):
1.  mc 6
2.  (inc), fo, weave in loose ends


Beak:
1.  mc 4
2.  (inc, sc)
3.  (sc)
4.  (sc)
5.  (inc, sc 2)
6.  (sc), fo, sew the open end closed, stitch to head, weave in the loose ends

Omit the legs

Omit the felt pieces

Use animal eyes

Use cockatiel colors (gray, yellow, & white)
